My Activity Tracking
My target 500 kms
I am fundraising for
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service! I’ve registered with my crew to walk, run, ride or roll 466kms, the distance between Tamworth and Lismore Helicopter Bases, to raise funds for this worthwhile charity.
I’ve got one full month to complete my mission, a journey that would take the Rescue Helicopter just over 1 hour. But while I won’t be reaching the maximum speed of 310km/h like the Rescue Helicopter, I will be doing my part to help save lives across Northern NSW.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter provides urgent aeromedical assistance to over 1.5 million people, from Pre-Hospital Emergencies such as motor vehicle, farming and industrial accidents and injuries around the home to Inter-Hospital Transfers of critically ill or injured patients such as newborn babies, cardiac patients or spinal injuries.
As a flying intensive care unit, the Service is able to stabilise patients on the scene or in the air before safely and rapidly delivering them to the most appropriate hospital.
All funds raised on my mission this October will help keep the Rescue Helicopters ready to respond to those who need it most so please make a donation and support my Base to Base mission.
Thank you for your support.

Thank youThursday 7th Oct Can I just say, on behalf of us all at the Chopper, and the wider community a MASSIVE thank you to everyone and anyone who has donated, contributed, some a walk of 1 klm or a ride of 200 klm, we so respect what you are doing for the Service. This has blown us away, we are so advanced of our projected target that this could be a World First!!! Ok let pair it back a bit, certainly a major effort.
In Memory of the 'champion' Cliff MarshThursday 30th Sep
Starting my Base to Base challenge tomorrow. People have been very generous and now I have another motivation.
Our great mate, former Chairman and Patron, Cliffy ‘the Old Champion’ Marsh has left us, and now is at peace.
I’m riding for the Service and his memory.
Thanks for those that have donated. And if you can……..Share
