I'm fundraising for The Westpac Rescue Helicopter
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service, by taking part in the 2025 Byron Coastal Charity Walk.
In February 2024, My father was involved in a water ski racing accident on the Clarence River. He was transported by road to Coffs Harbour Hospital to then be airlifted by the Westpac helicopter to the Gold Coast University Hospital to under go chest surgery and 3 weeks on life support. He spent a total of 60 days in hospital recovering.
To show my support I will be running the full 36km from Byron Bay to Ballina to raise money for the Westpac Helicopter Service.
All donations no matter how big or small will be greatly appreciated and go towards the amazing service.
