DAY 3
Sunday 14th September
A stunning ride today as we leave Mudgee and head to Merriwa, through the awesome Goulburn River National Park.
DAY 4
Monday 15th September
From Merriwa we head north towards the Great Dividing Range, through the upper reaches of Wybong Creek, and into Scone via Upper Dartbrook.
DAY 5
Tuesday 16th September
Another stunning ride as we head east from Scone towards Glenbawn Dam and pick up Waverley Rd, through some magnificent farming country to Timor and then into tonights stop in Murrurundi via Blandford.
DAY 6
Wednesday 17th September
An optional day today but most will want to ride to the best kept secret, Wallabadah Rock.
This "rock" is the second largest monolith in Australia behind Uluru, it is only accessible via private property so a great opportunity for what would be a once in a lifetime to most.
For those who take the rest day a chance to recharge before the run home.
DAY 7
Thursday 18th September
No warm up today as we hit the Murrurundi range right from the start. A chance for a breather once we get to the top and then down into Ardglen and then to the black soil of the Liverpool Plains. We'll wind our way through the lanes and back roads and into tonight's stop in Quirindi where we'll have our end of Ride Presentation Dinner at Club Quirindi, acknowledging the achievements of the week and awarding special prizes to some of the crew who have stood out for one reason or another.
DAY 8
Friday 19th September
Our final day on the 2025 Ride for the Chopper and still a bit of work to be done. From Quirindi we head north and past Quipolly Dam onto Back Werris Creek Road and into Werris Creek. From there it's north-west towards Piallaway before swinging back and into Currabubula, and then wind our way back to Tamworth via Gowrie and Kingswood to Calala and the finish line at the Calala Inn, sensational supporters for many years of the Ride for the Chopper and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.
And that's it, just on 600kms of amazing scenery, great people to ride with, an incredible support team, excellent overnight stops, and most importantly recognising that by taking part in the 2025 Ride for the Chopper we have played our part in assisting over 1600 people across Northern NSW each year.
Great effort team!
