the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service by taking part in the 2025 Drover's Run 4WD Outback Adventure.
For Josh, this cause is deeply personal—he's been airlifted by the Rescue Helicopter not once, but three times. Without their skill, speed and care, he wouldn’t be here to tell the story. That’s why we are proud to give back as a media partner and ambassadors for the Service on this journey.
Joining Josh on board is Wayne, who has a long-standing history of supporting the helicopter and passionately volunteers his time with Surf Life Saving. For both of us, this is more than just a trip—it’s a chance to say thanks, raise awareness, and help ensure this vital service is there for others when they need it most.
Every dollar raised helps keep the helicopters flying 24/7, 365 days a year. It costs around $4,000 every hour to keep one in the air—covering fuel, engine maintenance, airframe, and avionics.
