I'm fundraising for...

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service as they change outcomes in our community every day.

I have accepted the Leaders Leap challenge to abseil down the face of Crowne Plaza Terrigal Pacific on Friday 16 August 2024.

My motivation for doing the Leap this year is to further embed both my personal and Newcastle Jets Football Club presence in the community, and what better way to do that, then to raise vital funds for an iconic and extremely valued community service like the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.

I always remember watching the chopper fly over many sporting events I have been at and thinking that they always do such an incredible job. My daughters and I also saw a rescue once within Glenrock State Reserve in Newcastle, and we were amazed at the rescue efforts and determination in their selfless attempts to help those affected.

I was younger, heights were never a real big concern, though now I am older, seeing the stadium from a different vantage point is going to be the real highlight, and I’ll be happy when those feet hit the ground again.
