This will be my second year participating in the Westpac Helicopter Rescue Service’s Byron Coastal Charity Walk (between Byron Bay and Ballina) and I ask that you consider helping me to raise funds for this fantastic community service.
It costs $4,000 an hour to keep each of their 4 x AW139 helicopters in the air and every dollar donated to the service could very well contribute to saving a life.
I have two goals: importantly, I want to raise a minimum of $500 through my participation and secondly I plan to beat my previous time (5 hours 38 minutes) by finishing within 5 hours 30 minutes over the 36 km. I don’t run anymore…
The walk will take place on Saturday 4 May 2024.
Any contribution, however small (or large!), is welcome and I look forward to receiving your generous support.
