How Your Fundraising

Makes a Difference

Every dollar you raise on Drovers Run Outback Adventure supports your local Rescue Helicopter service, operating 24/7, 365 days a year, from bases in Lismore, Tamworth and Belmont.

Four AW139 aircraft cover 1.5m people throughout Northern New South Wales, from the Hawkesbury to the Queensland border, making it one of the leading aeromedical services in Australia.

Our AW139’s are sometimes referred to as flying intensive care units due to the advanced standard of medical care available to patients on board. Each aircraft is reconfigurable and can carry two stretcher patients or a baby infant carrier. The crew includes a Pilot, Aircrew Officer, NSW Ambulance Paramedic, NSW Health Doctor and depending on the needs of each patient the team may include specialist nursing professionals.

Partnerships with our community, corporate business and the NSW Government ensure our Rescue Helicopters are available to deliver the best possible care for those in need.

On average, our goal is to raise $12 million annually though community fundraising. We are very grateful for the support we receive from our community through events like this one, as well as sponsorships, donations, volunteers and community partnerships. It’s why we proudly think of our operations as “the Community’s Own”.
