Join the 10th Annual Drover’s Run 4WD Outback Adventure for the journey of a lifetime. Explore some of the most iconic destinations in outback Australia while raising funds for the Northern NSW Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.
Starting in Armatree on Friday 1st August 2025 for a meet and greet and catch-up dinner before heading off the next morning. Over the next nine days you will cover more than 3,000kms through western NSW and the channel country of South-West Queensland.
From Armatree we head north through the Macquarie Marshes, stopping overnight at the spectacular Mt Oxley, and then fuel up in Bourke before following the Paroo River and our next night at Charlottes Plains which will be one of the highlights of the 2025 Drover's Run.
The next day will be one of the best travelling days as we pass through Cunnamulla and Eulo, head north-west to Toompine for lunch, and then cross-country though kilometres of private property before arriving in Eromanga for the evening. In 2015 we were the first group to ever tour the Eromanga Natural History Museum, we will be revisiting the home of Cooper the Dinoosaur the folloowing morning and witness the incredible improvements that have been made to the facility over the past 10 years.
We then start to make our way eastwards, excited to spend the next night at Goodwood Stationstay north east of White Cliffs with the Turner family, and then another awesome day of driving as we pass through the village of Louth and Gundabooka National Park, more private property and then an overnight at one of the best countrtyt pubs around, the Mulga Creek Hotel at Byrock.
Heaps more sightseeing on the way home including Quambone and Coonamble, through the spectacular Warrambungles, to our final night destination in Coonabarabran, and the next day to our finish line at our NENW base in Tamworth on Sunday 10th August.
Sounds like a lot in nine days but by the end you will have experienced so much of what is great about the outback, in an escorted adventure, with wonderful people. This is a trip of a lifetime so don't miss out.
There is plenty of time factored in for you to enjoy the beautiful scenery and unique landmarks along the way on the 2025 Drover’s Run Outback Adventure. The Drover’s Run is not a race, it’s about having fun, getting to experience the real Outback, and meeting and supporting the wonderful people of rural and Outback Australia.
The routes, stop-overs, and attractions are guaranteed to make the journey a memorable one.
The Drover’s Run continues to grow in popularity and there are very limited numbers for this once in a lifetime experience, so now is the time to register and start planning for the 2025 Drover’s Run Outback Adventure.
