Eternally grateful…
Last July I was swept out to sea while bodysurfing big bombs at Tallow Beach, Byron Bay.
Having grown up surfing in Byron, I am in the water daily — an extremely confident swimmer and surfer — so I never in a billion years imagined I would find myself in need of the rescue chopper out there in the surf — it’s sobering that I wouldn’t be here today without it…
My mother and also my brother-in-law have needed to be transported by the chopper in the last years — an amazing service that I hope you’ll never need.
I'll be walking the whole hog — 36kms from Byron to Ballina — please consider helping me reach/exceed my goal in fundraising for this essential and life-saving service.

Great cause mate, and good on you for doing something good out of what must have been a harrowing experience.
Appreciate how much you're giving back.
