The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service, as I loves a challenge and the opportunity to raise funds for a worthy cause.
I am a Newcastle local and underground mining professional with over 20 years’ experience and currently the Mining Engineering Manager at Ashton Coal.
Fortunately, my family and I have never experience the service first hand, but I know a number of people that have. I also know the importance of the service, particularly within the mining community.
I have lots of connections with the sporting community of Newcastle, but haven't abseiled before. I don't think I am scared of heights,. but I suppose we will see when I get up there.
