Gary Fox, the original Ballina ‘Good Guy’ has been growing his hair since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020. Gary has now decided to lose the locks and embrace the razor to raise funds for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.
Gary has helped to raise support, as well as donating funds for many organisations throughout the Ballina Shire community over the years. Gary would like your help to raise as much money as he can for a very worthy cause, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service. If you are not aware, Rescue Helicopter is a local charity that provides aeromedical rescue support to the community from its base in Lismore. Each year they seek donation support to raise over $3.5M to help keep their operations on standby 24/7. The Service is celebrating 40 years of saving lives in the Northern Rivers, free of charge to patients.
You can donate here online and be a part of the fun as Gary will be having his head shaved on stage at the Cherry Street Sports Club on Saturday 22nd of October at 7.30pm.
Join Gary beforehand at the Club for some raffles and auctions and then stay on after his hair cut to enjoy some live music from the ‘Wear the Fox Hat’ band.
All money raised will stay in the Northern Rivers and directly support the local Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.
