My name is Bryce Fardell, from Valverde in Invergowrie, NSW.
I have been raising a steer on my property for roughly two years and will be sending the steer to auction in the coming fortnight. The proceeds of the steer auction will be donated to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service, and I am asking for support from the community more broadly to donate and support this cause.
Two mates of mine, Brian Ferris and Dave Rogers, both Lions Club members, have encouraged me to connect with all the Lions Clubs in NSW to seek their support as we attempt to raise substantial funds for this essential service.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service has the territory of northwest NSW and the New England. My family has lived in the New England for approximately 170 years. I truly understand the impact that the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service has for those living regionally and how important this service is to the care of people in need of urgent medical attention.
