I'm fundraising for...

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service as they change outcomes in our community every day.

I have accepted the Leaders Leap challenge to abseil down the face of McDonald Jones Stadium on Friday 16 August 2024.

As Business Manager at Business Hunter, I understand the importance of supporting other not-for-profit organisations and connecting business leaders in the Hunter region.

The Rescue Helicopter is an iconic charity in the Hunter, inspiring generosity and collaboration simply by the fact that they save lives, every single day.

I have toured the Rescue Helicopter Base at Broadmeadow a couple of times and been moved by numerous stories about saving lives and making meaningful contributions to the community.

I’m definitely not scared of heights and was hoping to abseil face first if they let me

Sincere thanks to all of the generous and thoughtful people who have donated to my fundraising campaign. 

Westpac Rescue Helicopter service responds to over 1.5 million calls, 24/7, 365 days a year, and any support to this vital lifesaving service will be greatly appreciated!

I am now going over face first, which I have never done before.

Someone told me it is easier because you can see where you're going, however, when where you're going is 7 storeys down on thr wrong side of gravity, I am not sure if "easier" is the word I would use.

I've added a photo of myself for no reason other than it is hilarious! At least I think so...

The juice is in the giving!

Hello to all my generous supporters,

I'm blown away that I have raised over $1,000 so far, and am confident I will get to my $3,000 target, even though it means I'll be going over face first!

The money we have raised will literally save lives, so thank you so much. Isn't it funny how the more we give, the more we receive? The more we contribute, the more we are supported? That's because the good stuff is found in service to others.
