I'm fundraising for...
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service
By entering the Drover's Run Outback Adventure I am making a significant contribution to the lifesaving work of the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service. The charity provides urgent aeromedical assistance to over 1.5 million people, from Pre-Hospital Emergencies such as motor vehicle, farming and industrial accidents to Inter-Hospital Transfers of critically ill or injured. As a flying intensive care unit, the crew is able to stabilise patients on the scene or in the air before safely and rapidly delivering them to the most appropriate hospital.
All funds raised on through the Drovers Run Outback Adventure will help keep the Rescue Helicopters ready to respond to those who need it most.

Drovers Run 2026 Support
Friday 17th JulSupporting the Drover’s Run and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service
There are some causes that speak directly to the heart of regional Australia, and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service is one of them. Whether it is responding to accidents on rural roads, supporting people on farms, assisting in emergencies across remote areas, or helping families when every minute matters, this service represents hope, skill and community spirit in action.
The Drover’s Run is a fundraising 4WD outback adventure supporting the Northern NSW Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service. The 2026 event is scheduled to run from 1 August to 16 August, beginning in Nyngan and travelling around 4,500 kilometres through western NSW, South Australia, the Flinders Ranges, the Eyre Peninsula, Menindee Lakes and the Central West of NSW. It is not a race; it is a journey built on mateship, adventure, generosity and a shared commitment to keeping this vital rescue service in the air.
Why I’m Proud to Support It
For those of us who live, work or travel across regional communities, the value of a rescue helicopter cannot be overstated. Distance can make emergency care harder to reach, and in critical moments the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service helps bridge that gap. It gives people in the bush, on the road, at work and at home the chance to receive urgent medical support when it is needed most.
What makes the Drover’s Run so special is the way it brings people together. Participants take on long days, dusty tracks and unforgettable country not just for the adventure, but to raise awareness and funds for a lifesaving service. Every vehicle, every donation, every sponsor and every supporter plays a part in something much bigger than the journey itself.

The Drover’s Run is more than an outback adventure. It is a reminder of what can happen when communities rally behind a cause that saves lives. I am proud to support this event and grateful to everyone involved in helping the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service continue its critical work.
