This Drover’s Run Early Bird 4WD Outback Adventure fundraising for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service, will once again be taking our entrants to some of the most iconic destinations in the Outback.
The Drover's Run Early Bird will start in the Central West town of Narromine on Friday 1st April 2022 when we meet at Narromine Aero Club for a catch-up dinner before heading off the next morning. Over the next nine days we will cover around 2,800kms as we head west towards the South Australian border, visit fantastic communities like Packsaddle and Silverton, and then on to the junction of the Murray and Darling Rivers at Wentworth, NSW. From there we visit the stunning Mungo National Park and learn of some of the ancient history of this heritage listed area, and then the beautiful Lake Cargelligo and the wine district of Mudgee before finishing for the first time away from Tamworth with a finish at our Head Office at the Broadmeadow base.
Almost 2,800kms over nine days and even though we'll travel a lot of kilometres you will certainly have time to enjoy the incredible places we get to visit. The Drover's Run is not a race or a bash event, it’s about having fun, getting to know and experience the Outback, and meet and support the wonderful people of Outback NSW with a fantastic group of people in the comfort of your 4WD.
The Drover’s Run continues to grow in popularity and when planning the routes, stop-overs, and places to visit enroute, a great deal of attention is given to making the adventure something that you would not get to experience if you weren’t part of this incredible fundraiser. Great venues, public and private roads, lots of catered dinners and million star views.
Numbers for this once in a lifetime experience are strictly limited so now is the time to register and start planning for the 2022 Drover’s Run Early Bird Outback Adventure.
